In addition, the construction technologies are in existence to enhance the industry through the safety factors, enhancing the economical natures of the industry and also enhance the aesthetics (Knaack, Klein, Bilow, Auer, 2014). The changes in the construction industry are all attributed to the changes in technology in the aim to achieve one factor or the other. For instance, the change of the building from the use of stones and mud to the use of timber, stones, concrete, metal among other materials is all enhanced through the technological advancement. Therefore, the construction technology turns to be a great asset for the construction industry simply because it enhances the innovation and enhancement of the industry (International Confer ence on Construction Materials and Structures et al., 2014). In addition, the construction technologies are able to involve other aspects which involve the management of the construction industry. All the aspects of the construction site are able to involve one aspect or the other of the construction technology. There are different types of technologies which are applied in the construction industry. The existence of the different types of construction is able to raise the wide variety of the technologies which h can be applied on the industry (Knaack, Klein, Bilow, Auer, 2014). Some of the key types of construction in the industry include the commercial construction, domestic constructions, industrial construction, and civil construction among others. The applied technology in one part of construction may not be applied in another type of construction (International Conference on Construction Materials and Structures et al., 2014). The needs and requirements at the different construction parts are able to divide the technologies which can be used in any construction site. For instance, in domestic construction, simple construction technologies are applied in order to reduce the costs of construction and the availability of the materials for the works (Riley Cotgrave, 2014a). In addition, the cost of the projects and the timelines for their construction are key on which technologies can be applied. Moreover, as the cost of the construction projects increase, the strength and life of the construction technologies are considered. The construction technology has different roles which are able to enhance the designing and enhancing the construction of the different parts. The construction technologies range from the applications in designs to the methods of constructions as well as the materials used (Chinowsky, 2014). The development in IT is one of the major part, which is key in the construction technology. The use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is one of the computerized methods, which are used as part of the construction technology (Riley Cotgrave, 2014a). The construction technologies are available to enhance the communication between the different personnel in construction industry. The communication between the designers and engineers is enhanced through the use of different applications of design such as BIM. Moreover, the construction technologies are key in reducing the flaws, which are found on some parts of the construction process. For instance, the use of computer-aided designing, CAD i s able to enhance the reduction of the major flaws which are found in the designing process of the construction (Li Poon, 2013). In addition, the reduction of cost through innovation of cheaper materials is usually achieved through the use of construction technologies. Moreover, the improvements of the aesthetics are the final construction process is usually enhanced through the use of different construction technologies. In addition, the innovation is a key part of the construction technology. The innovation is able to enhance the coming up with new way of performing the different activities of construction industry (Picon, 2006). The technological process in construction has been able to introduce many innovations in the field of construction. The difference between the old construction ways and new constructions ways are clear and their attributes are due to the construction technologies (Riley Cotgrave, 2014b). The timeline of the construction are key in enhancing the construction of the different parts of the construction industry. In overall, the innovation of different materials and ways of construction are able to make the construction process quick (National Center for Construction Education and Research, 2002). For instance, the use of pre-stressed concrete tendons is a key innovation, which is able to enhance the construction timeline and therefore a key construction technology in the indu stry. The innovation is able to range from the construction designing and construction process and materials are able to enhance the construction industry. One of the key innovation in the construction technology is the green construction. The green revolution is simply the use of energy saving methods and other natural environment enhancement of the construction industry (Li Poon, 2013). In the construction technology, the green industry must enhance the natural environment of prevent the spoiling of the materials and use of eco-friendly materials (National Center for Construction Education and Research, 2002). In addition, the green construction is able to enhance and follow the available regulations which help to create a save environment. The construct ion technology is therefore able to enhance the safety and ensuring that different technologies are able to enhance their safety. In addition, Leadership in Energy and Environment Design, LEED, is another key approach which is found in the construction industry (Riley Cotgrave, 2014b). This aspect is able to introduce the monitoring of the green construction level in the industry and ensure that the different aspects and requirements are met in the industry. In addition, the construction technologies are able to enhance the quality through the LEED and ensure that all checks and eco-friendly mode of construction is adhered to. Moreover, the LEED is able to introduce the proper modes of search and introduction of materials which are able to enhance the green construction industry (Davies, Macaulay, Debarro Thurston, 2014). The LEED is a key aspect of the construction technology which enhances the different aspects of monitoring and therefore enhance the balance between the different aspects of construction industry. The construction industry involves different aspects which are able to enhance the cost and env ironment friendliness of the industry in any aspects. Moreover, the construction industry is able to involve other key innovative strategies which are used in the construction industry. Other key technological aspects and techniques, which are found on the construction sites, may include Hercules single strand tensioning systems, Styrofoam Panels, Unbounded PT Slabs among other technologies. All these technologies among others are able to make up the composition of the construction technology (Davies, Macaulay, Debarro Thurston, 2014). One major common factor of all these technologies is that they consider the effects of costs and environmental friendly at different factors. They are able to ensure that the construction industry is able to achieve its best with different factors changing each evolution (Li Poon, 2013). These are key factors are essential for the developments of the industry and they ensure that they attain different innovative factors which ensure that the methods are better than the previous methods. In conclusion, the construction technology is key in ensuring that is an essential element of the construction industry. The industry has undergone various evolution stages which are connected with the construction technology (Hauptfleisch, 2014). Each evolution stage is connected with different technological advancements. Moreover, the technological advancements are able to enhance different factors which the technology must achieve. The environmental protection is one of the key factors which the construction technologies look to enhance and achieve. Eco-friendly technologies are all around the construction industry and they look to enhance and achieve a friendly environment. In addition, the construction technologies look to achieve a cost effective methods. Lastly, the aesthetic factors are also enhance through different construction technologies.
